Asbury Ringers are grades 3-6, (2nd graders are also accepted on a trial basis). Wednesdays, 3:30-4:00. After school snacks are provided.
Buckingham Ringers, our adults, rehearse on Wednesdays, 9:00-10:45 am. We are in need of a couple of ringers!
Our Change Ringers take us back to the ancient art of ringing changes, where handbells, as we know them today, had their birth. Change ringing is both music and math. Our "tunes" are mathmatical sequences where only two adjacent bells can change position at any given time. This is accomplished by ringing methods and/or calls that our ringers learn. We were in hiatus during the 2014-2015 season due to scheduling difficulties.
Paradis Ringers is a select group of advanced ringers and named after Raymond Paradis, our former Music Director who began our handbell program in 1972. We Wednesdays, 11:00 am – noon. If you are, or know of an advanced ringer, we have openings.
Klipnocky Klangers are our youth in grades 7-12 and rehearse on Tuesdays 7:00-8:30 pm. For full information about this group, and downloadable forms, please go to to the Klangers' page.
History of our Equipment
The original 3 octave set was made possible by a donation in 1973 from attorney and Mrs. Warren Farrington in honor of the Rev. Dr. Harold Buckingham, for whom our adult group is named after. The fourth octave was donated in 1975, again by the Farringtons, and in 1978 the fifth octave was donated as well.
Additionally, we have the G2 bronze bell. The lower sixth octave of Malmark choirchimes and the C2 Malmark choirchime were added in 2007. In June 2010, the addition of 4th and 5th octaves of Malmark Choirchimes was made possible through donations in memory of Raymond Paradis.
We have just begun fundraising to complete the lower 7th octave of choirchimes. If you would like to donate to our cause, please click the button below. You will be redirected to Razoo. Donations are tax deductable. After you have made your donation, you will receive an email for your tax purposes. Thank you!
