Mary E. Ferguson was a member of First United Methodist Church of Oneonta and a business education teacher at Oneonta High School for many years. She is remembered for her keen interest in her students and their careers beyond graduation. A bequest in her will established the Mary E. Ferguson Student Loan Fund at our church. Over many decades, this bequest has supported the education of doctors, lawyers, pharmacists, scientists, engineers, teachers and social workers. Mary Ferguson would be pleased.

Scholarship applicants must be members of First United Methodist Church of Oneonta.
